Hot Fudge Recipe - 77 Calories per Quarter Cup!
I have been seriously craving a hot fudge sundae, so I modified my families recipe for it - I'm REALLY happy with the results, and the low calories were an added bonus!
2 c Unsweetened Almond Milk, Vanilla
2 Tbsp Butter, unsalted
1 c Truvia Blend (or sugar sub = 2 cups sugar)
1 c Cocoa Powder
4 tbsp flour
Heat the milk and butter on low until the butter is melted. While mixture is heating, stir/whisk together the remaining ingredients. Once butter is melted, add dry mix and whisk over low heat until thickened to the consistency desired (I like going until it is about the same as hot pudding). I am watching my sodium so do not use/add salt, but you might find you want to add it to taste!
Serve over favorite ice cream or dessert. Store in Refrigerator. Reheat over double-boiler or low temp in microwave.
Makes about 3.5 cups, or 14 quarter-cup servings
