Midwestern lady looking to give and get support!

Hi everyone, I'm a 22 year old lady from Minnesota looking to make some fitness friends and give and get support and motivation! I've been at this since January, and I'm slowly but surely losing weight! I'm trying most to change my relationship with food and exercise instead of only losing weight. I'm currently nursing a hip injury (possible hip flexor strain, I need to see a sports med doc soon!), so I've mostly just been focused on food.
A little about me: I work as a Nursing Assistant in a rehabilitation hospital during the evening shift, which is a great job that I really like. I have my bachelors degree in Biology, Society and the Environment. I have two cats, Lucy and Betty. I hope to move this fall to another country, but I haven't decided where yet! I love to knit, sew, sample beer, play Scrabble, bake, drink tea, practice doing hair and makeup, and read.
Let's help each other out!

Noticed your used the phrase "relationship with food" ... Is that by possibly like "The Gabriel Method: The Revolutionary DIET-FREE Way to Totally Transform Your Body"? No, I'm not plugging the book or er, method. Just wondering. Diet-Free may be right but instead is a lifestyle change...Anyway it gets good reviews on Amazon I may read it.0
