Getting a little desperate to work in some "gimme" calories burned. Anyone do the balance ball instead of office chair? Does it do anything for you? Good? Bad? I'm willing to look like a moron (OK, I always look the moron) if it's for a good cause!

I have talked about it....my desk is directly in front of one of the windows at the front counter but like you said I am willing if it works!! Awaiting an answer from any "guinea pig"in the house!0

I always think of Dwight from "The Office"...haha
In all seriousness it may be a good idea but I know my back would be killing me after too long on there. Good luck to you, though!0 -
I just saw that Jackie Warner (from Thinnervention) recommends doing it.
No idea how good it works, but it's worth a try for part of the day at least!0 -
I use a balance ball instead of an office chair at home.
I love it! It great to be able to roll around and exercise the hips, butt etc. in small movements.
You can also roll out away from the desk and bend all the way backwards to get a really great stretch. :flowerforyou:0 -
its supposed to be really good for your core due to the fact that you use your muscles for balance0
