Pedometer app to link to MFP (Android)

Does anyone know of a good pedometer app I can download that I can sync to MFP? I have tried Runtastic but will only work when my phone screen is on, which will drain the battery really fast. Also tried Striiv and Accupedo but they don't sync properly and the estimates Accupedo give are less than MFP so doesn't log calories burned. I have also tried MapMyWalk, but that seems more suitable for walking routes, rather than a simple pedometer.

Any ideas???

I've tried everything! Do you know anything about Accupedo? It seems that is syncs ok with MFP but MFP estimates my calorie burn is more than Accupedo so it logs as 0 calories...?

The issue isn't software .. it's hardware. Many phones disable the accelerometer when the screen turns off.
  • If u go into accupedo and click on setting scroll down to share and the option is there.... I also found that with 3g it syncs better than WiFi
