Help needed

I am new to this website and would just like some advice. I have exercised all my life but in the last 18 months I have upped this.

What I want to know is how many calories I should eat to maintain my weight and how many calories am I burning on an average cardio session.

My details are:

I exercise 6 times a week for an hour. I will bike, jog and use the cross trainer. I used to have the resistance up higher on all of these but it bulked my thighs (that is something I really do NOT want.....if anything I would like to slim them a bit)
So now I just have upped the speed on all the cardio.

I always work out to an average heart rate on all machines at 172-3

As long as I work out in that heart range does it matter what machine etc I use?
