I was wondering what results (pics would be awesome) any ladies have had from NROL. I am debating starting this or C25K or maybe both.

Go for both. It's an excellent combination of cardio and strength training. Everything the heart needs.

I would suggest if you do both do C25K on your non-lifting days

Of course new and updated pics are always appreciated ..... to check progress ..... and in the name of science.

    ETA: Threads with pics.

And to say Photobucket sucks for adding pics on MFP

I do NROLFW Monday, Wednesday, Friday and I do C25K Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. It's hard some days since I'm doing a lot of work everyday, but I'm happy with the little results I've had. My legs and booty are looking pretty awesome.

Make sure you get enough calories, protein etc.

do both...one is cardio (weight lifting for your heart) and the other is resistance training for your muscular skeletal system...both cardio and resistance training are essential to a well balanced fitness regimen.

I just finished stage 1 of The New Rules of Lifting for Women. It's a great program, but I ditched it in favor of StrongLifts for simplicity. I was intimidated by the following stages as well. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to finish the workout in my allotted lunch time. I even spent hours creating training logs for each stage. I have no doubt that you would see results with that program. Being that I'm 231 pounds and only completed stage 1 of the program, I don't have any pics to share. However, I can tell that I gained a lot of strength.

I'm only on my first week with StrongLifts 5x5, but I think it will give good results too. Plus, I like the free tracking app for my phone.

I don't have pictures, but I have lost 30 inches over all and 25lbs. I'm ending Stage 2. I do elliptical paired with the lifting, and on off days I hike and do yoga. I only lift 2 days a week though. I love the routine of New Rules, the challenging body weight exercises, and the different weights I get to try.
