MFP and gastric surgery

I have been on my journey of weight loss for over 3 years now and had a gastric band fitted two years ago, up till that point I had lost 60lbs but since then I have struggled to lose.

I go to the gym about 3 times a week with a view to upping the exercise, if I'm honest I could do better with food but I have been good and still not lost so my motivation has dropped at times.

I am about half way to where I want to go weight wise, I just wondered if there is anyone else on here who has similar experiences to me and can suggest any tips or help me get back on track.

    Are you getting in all your protein and veggies or are you eating too many carbs. I had the lap band too and I know I've eaten too many carbs lately. My band is too tight for enough protein so I'm going in tomorrow to get some fill taken out. I've eaten carbs instead of proten and veggies because they go down easier.

    I think for me it's remembering why I had the surgery in the first place and that I spent a lot of time and effort and money to do it so I need not to undo it.
