Hello all,
I started using My Fitness Pal this Monday. I have been collecting pounds for the past couple of years- I went from a size 4/6 (a healthy size for my 5'3" frame) to a size 10/12. I am turning 30 in July and I don't want to be this size into my 30's- I'm carrying a lot of extra weight around my middle and I know it's not healthy.
I usually eat bad food out of convenience, ignorance or to relieve stress. I am trying to change those habits and remember my calorie limit, but it is sometimes a struggle to cope with stress without the reward of something decadent. To stop this, I've been using the app on my phone to track food and I am exercising 4-5 times a week for an hour (usually tennis, or volleyball once a week).
My boyfriend is a skinny guy who can have all kinds of butter, snacks, goodies, pop and beer and it doesn't even affect him- while he is supportive of my lifestyle change, he's not willing to do things to the same level as me. It would be nice to know friends on here who are going through a similar time who could hold me accountable/provide support and I would do the same. Extra points if you're absolutely dying for a pint of beer and some bar food right about now (I know I am...please tell me it gets easier?)
