hmmm....I am not sure how to do this. If anyone knows how to adjust the daily calories to be higher since I am breastfeeding I am to have between 1500-1800 calories a day....please pass along any helpful tips! Thanks. I need to get back on track since I have an extra 10 lbs. After having my newest daughter 2 months ago!

There is an entry in the food database for breastfeeding. It subtracts calories depending on how much your baby is taking in. So if you know about how much your baby takes in at a feeding, you can use that. And good for you for breastfeeding!
  • When you add food to your diary, just type in breastfeeding and it will come up. If you're exclusively breastfeeding make sure you're getting 500 extra calories a day, plus an extra 6/8 oz glasses of water.
  • Thanks for the helpful hints!
