Don't Know What to Do with Greek Yogurt

I got some plain Greek yogurt for a recipe and had a whole lot left over. I went looking for things to do with it. I knew I could use it as a substitute for sour cream, and it *was* good in the tacos I had the other night. I wanted a snack, and I went searching for what to do. I found this web site, and I thought I'd share with the group. The Cinnamon Peanut Butter Dip was AWESOME!

I made a batch of hummus the other night and added 1/4 cup to it. Very good. My typical use for plain Greek yogurt is to mix it with defrosted frozen berries, ground flax seeds, honey and a little granola.0

I love plain Greek yogurt, even plain.
Try mixing with chopped cucumber. You can also add a bit of onion and mint. Serve with pita bread or chipati. Check out cucumber raita.
Add vanilla and/or cocoa or blueberries and a bit of sweetener. I like stevia extract for this.
Use to make beef stroganoff without fatty, sour cream.
Use to marinate meat. Especially like to marinate chicken. Include tandoori spice mix and grill.
Smoothies.
Drain in cheesecloth and add herbs/salt for a yummy spread.0 -
Blend with berries in the blender and put into Popsicle holders or freeze in ice cream maker as frozen yogurt ice cream or Popsicles.0

Thanks for the site, I'll be trying those chocolate muffins at some point!0

Use in salads where you'd normally put mayo or sour cream.0

I use it as sour cream. Nachos, burritos, all that good stuff I am not eating currently.0

I dash a bit of chocolate protein powder with some stevia into it and whip it up and then add frozen blueberries and mix it up real quick and it freezes some of the yogurt turning it into a sort of blueberry and chocolate ice cream! its yum!
Or you can blend it up with mango and lime juice and stick it in the freezer for half hour... mmm frozen yogurt!!!0
