Can I eat today, exercise tomorrow....

Just as a once off, I have eaten way over my calorie goal and I am knackered, been so busy today so not going to exercise tonight, plus I have so much planning to do.
Can I exercise those calories tomorrow and not eat them back?
I know this is probably a stupid idea and there is heaps of reasons why I can't but I don't know them yet so am asking
I dont normally eat over my calories, it's just been a crap day
Anyway what's the verdict?

Thanks

You could but think of it as a long term thing, the big picture. Maybe look at your whole week rather than today. You can even it out by the end of the week or something and not immediately.

Take it easy on yourself! Hope the rest of your week gets better. :flowerforyou:

Agreed, if it helps you can average your calories over a week. Works for me :)

Same here. I average my goals weekly as the daily targets are a bit strict for me and it was always quite hard to hit them consistently

I'd write off today altogether and start afresh tomorrow, otherwise you'll always be running in calorie debt. Think about saving a few calories a day during the week for the odd hungry day rather than trying to catch up afterwards.
