I hate the word "can't" *vent*

That word has ruined my day. After doing a workout that I kept saying "I can't do this" I came back to work demoralized and angry at myself. And now I "can't" stop thinking about it. GRRR!

you cant alter the workout but you Can stop it ruining the rest of your day - do another workout later - walk or run or whatever fits in and see if you can alter your mindset!

ps whilst you were doing your workout saying you "can't do this" you were actually doing it??

That's the funny thing. The part I kept saying I "can't do this" was box jumps to a specific height. I managed to do the workout by not jumping on the box, but by stacking weights to the proper height. Just annoyed that the box freaks me out so much.

The box freaks me out too. The first time I tried box jumps I didn't clear the box and ended up falling hard. I've never tried again.

So you're already ahead just by trying!

This is a part of my problem too. The first time I fell was off a box like the ones my gym has just purchased. Broke my face (okay just a tooth but still)...

Can't is often a lie we well ourselves when we don't want to be bothered to try harder.
