Macros?

This might sound dumb but I always see people talking about reaching their calories and macro goals...what are macros?

    Macros are Macro Nutrients...Protien, fats and carbs. Basic building blocks of food.

    Many people, mainly bodybuilders like myself. Do not use myfitnesspal to track calories. Instead we use it to track our macro nutrient goals instead. This is our carbs, fat and protein and many of us also track fibre.

    E.g. 550g of carbs / 275g of protein / 75g of fat a day = 3975 calories a day.
