Just started yesterday. I get adding diary entries and how MFP saves the food, types and cals. My question is if a condiment is added to a recipe for example coating your chicken breast with mayo and breadcrumbs to bake .....where and how do you add the mayo and breadcrumbs?

There's a recipe section under FOOD where you can add in all the ingredients to a recipe and it will give you the total per serving. Or you can add each item individually in your food diary.

Yes, include condiments. Condiments have calories, particularly things like mayo.

If it goes in my mouth it gets logged.

I don't really use condiments in my entries because truthfull usually it's less than 50 calories and I always have a little cushion for things like that. But, you can always enter the recipe that way you get the calories per serving. I do that if a LOT of ingredients go into something but if I just brush a little bit of bbq sauce on my chicken... I don't log it. Its insignificant in the big picture.

I add them in separately until I get the hang of the recipe builder. I also only really use pb, butter and salsa as condiments, don't use anything else on my foods like ketchup, mustard and mayos anymore.
