I have nothing against chia seeds, but they're really a source of fat that happen to have some protein thrown in. Given their calorie-to-protein gram ratio, they're not really a primary source of protein.
The fat content and fiber are beneficial for all sorts of reasons, but like nuts, I'd include them in my diet for the sake of satiety, not if I were looking to supplement protein specifically.0
