Hi. I am Xena and I am morbidly obese. Just saying it freaks me out. I wan't always heavy like this, I had a very weird awesome period in high school where I was in normal shape and at a "healthy weight" - though I am sure I "thought" I was fat then, too. Diet after diet, shame after shame, and now I'm 46 years old and preparing for weight loss surgery (in August I hope). I'm reaching out to other PRE surgery folks (or intra, or post) to chat and get tips and suggestions. I'm replacing one meal with a protein shake, I have given up soda and carbonation (EXCEPT my tonic water with my Gin), journaling, TRYING to not drink with meals, TRYING to get on board w/ the Vitamin regimine, and so on. So, ..... Here I am.
