Hey, im just wondering what i should be eating as in the last 5-6 months ive jumped between a few numbers. im 5ft 7, male and weigh 15.8(down from 16 in 2 weeks woop). I currently eat 1900 cals a day but unsure if this is too much or too low. my biggest flaw is weighing myself atleast 4-5 times a day. i drive myself mad. I weigh myself in the morning at 15.8, i eat dinner and weigh 15.11 and panic and feel like rubbish all night. Just need some advice on my numbers so i know im heading in the right direction. Although i lost some weight to get to 15.8 im pretty sure most of it is water as i had a couple of takouts before i started. my schedule is:
monday-Run 2-4 miles
tue-weights
wed-5 a side football 1hr
thurs-weights-
fri-rest
sat-run 2-4 miles
thanks for reading

Stop weighing yourself that much for one, you are working on developing an eating disorder. One time in the morning if you must. 1900 is not enough to lose weight. That is really close to your maintenance. I would drop it to 1700. Don't panic. if you eat 1 lb of food expect to weight 1 lb more. It's not fat it's just that you just put something dense in your body. Sometimes I lose 6 lbs in 10 hours. It's just water. That's why weighing yourself 5 times a day will drive you crazy. Your weight can jump up really high during the day but don't worry about it. Also eat back your burned calories. if you are eating 1700 a day and you burn 300 you need to eat 2000 calories in that day.0

Yah no I looked at those threads, in most of them you mention your football, weight lifting and cardio,
Your routine is the same and your job was changed in March I believe.
you asked after your job changed as you said you were moving a lot...you were given answers.
ETA:not trying to be nasty but the answers you have been given have been extensive and well thought out.0 -
I guess im after some reassurance then, i dunno, i felt i wasnt sure about where to be at and looking at sactowns response i was eating a little more than i should be so was worth the ask, ive switched from tdee, to myfp and back round god knows how many times.0

with your stats and activity you should be able to lose on 1900 easy0

hi nosebag, yeah i thought that also. i mean i have lost since being at 1900, i dont tend to eat all my exercise cals back as i dont have Hrm to track my exact burn and myfp is very kind i hear. So i tend to eat 50% of what myfp says. Maybe i will try 1700 for a week or 2 and see how my progress goes.0
