But he didn't weigh anything and I have no idea what the calorie count is going to be. Sigh. I guess he'll have to eat the whole thing alone (there are like two pounds of beef in there).
Grump.

You only have 1 calorie left anyways..
That being said, guess...1 meal isn't going to kill you.0 -
Looks like you already had dinner anyway! Just have some tomorrow for lunch, chili is always better the next day anyway :drinker:0

I just looked up home made beef chili and one cup was only 175 oor 176 calories. That is not bad at all! You can have two cups and still be fine:drinker:0

I didn't want any tonight, but yeah I wouldn't have minded having some tomorrow or something. His has no beans, it's 90% ground beef, onions and tomatoes pretty much. I guess I could overestimate it, but I hate doing that...

If you know how much beef there's in it (because you probably have the package with the weight on it - yes, I'm talking about looking in the garbage to see the correct weight, if it's not too gross in there), you could totally estimate the veggies without bothering too much.
I will never pass on eating something my fiance has cooked for me because I can't count the calories. He would probably feel hurt, and I will miss a great occasion of not having to cook dinner. It's a loose-loose situation.0 -
it wouldn't be heard at all to guestimate it into the recipe builder. I'd do a lot for chilli.0

Yeah, I'd check the package and percent leanness and estimate. Ask him what else is in there, if you don't know. I bet you'd even be pretty close.0

Isn't there some sort of unspoken rule that chili is always better on the second day?0
-
Yes, it was still cooking when I went to bed too.
Although I'm not that fond of beanless chili. But really, I don't want to have to guess. I totally suck at it. Then I end up overeating or hungry because I overestimated and I don't know if I can eat more.0
