Dissapointment = Unmotivated

Well feeling very unmotivated today..
Not lost anything in the last 3 weeks while killing my self at the gym and sticking below 1200kcal (not exactly a balanced diet but still its the deficit what counts) with the odd day over but never going over my maintenance and drownding my self with my intake of water think only havent completed my diary once.. I'd have at least expected to lose a few pounds or the scales at least indicate a body fat % drop but instead my bodyfats gone up and my muscle and water weight have come down (i know this can change slightly depending on time of day and food and drink intake) and I do have PCOS so I know it can be harder to shift the fat with crazy hormone inbalances. But Seriously is a few pounds much to ask, I Wouldn't mind if I wasn't putting in the effort, but I've pushed my self to the limit. I have already lost 83lb and its not as easy to shift the last bit of weight but really not even a LB... I am getting a fitbit so i can track my kcal burn more accurately but apart from that am pretty stuck with ideas.
Any advice welcome please my diary is open to all
ThankQ in advance. x

why are you eating less than 1200 cals when you only have about 10lb to go?

My guess is that you are eating too little food and killing yourself at the gym. If you added a couple hundred more calories and tried to have better calories i bet the scale would start moving in your favor again. The last ten is the hardest and starving or forcing yourself usually backfires.

Its just what it set me up as when I first joined 83lb's ago (old profile) and didnt see the need to change it till am on maintanence cause I don't find it hard to stick to x

I have thought about upping my calories but I feel if i can't lose it only eating 1200 how is upping my Kcal's going to help I don't want to start going in the opposite direction and hinder the progress av made.. The gym's not so much of a problem altho am killing my self I do enjoy it, or at least the feeling of accomplishment when the workouts complete.

with 10lb to go, you should be working towards maintenance, so a deficit to lose 0.5lb per week is sufficient.

I have recalculated this on MFP and I should be eating more around 1600 to lose roughly a lb a week (i didn't want to put it to .05lb a week to ease me into eating so many more kcal's a day I'll try this for a few weeks see if this helps.. ThankQ both.

'Killing yourself' is your own opinionated statement. You might be killing yourself while burning 50 calories.

Going to the gym doesnt = weight loss

    Calorie deficit = weight loss

I've been back at the Gym since January and I know when I push my self or not, which I have been doing over the last month, I do higher intense classes or high resistence//Interval training - running//Longer hours. if you'd have read my my exercise before commenting you would have seen that.

I have no reason to lie, no one else loses out bar me if I do.. I was looking for helpful advice, yours not really helping.

sticking below 1200kcal (not exactly a balanced diet but still its the deficit what counts) with the odd day over

The deficit is important to losing. A balanced diet is critical to your health. Congrats on losing the 83 pounds. Maybe try checking your macros and making your goal to eat a healthy diet now. Weight loss is great, until you're losing things you need.

Read this link and try and develop a plan that will make you as healthy as you can be. Otherwise, being thin will be all you have.

I lost one pound in 2 months, I hear you, lol!

But seriously, I've actually increased my calories. I eat 1800 a day now. That seems to prevent binging, and I'm still at a deficit. Win/win.

Its so fustrating I've just read a really good page bout putting my body into survival mode and not going below 1200kcals.. http://voices.yahoo.com/starvation-mode-dispelling-myths-2900886.html so I'm gunna try really hard to stick to 1600 see how that goes for few weeks :)
