Steroids question

Hi I'm on steroids for a week for some nasty poison ivy. I knew steroids had weight gain side effect and sure enough I'm on day 4 and I'm up 4 lbs from last Thursday.... I know I haven't eaten enough to even gain one lb, so are the effects like sodium and once I stop the medication the bloating will be flushed out in a few days?

Logically I know that I haven't permanently gained this weight back in a week but I really hate seeing that number on the scale...

    It's temporary. Your gain could be a normal fluctuation and not at all related to the steroids.
