Hello, everyone! I have had a myfitness pal account for quite some time now, but have never really used it. I decided recently that it was time to make a change, so here I am!
Just a little about me....
I am a 24 year old wife and mother from Albuquerque, NM, and I work part time and go to school full time.
I am currently working on a bachelor's degree in criminology with a minor in art (random, I know...it's a long story). My life is hectic and busy....I feel like I have very little time to plan meals and excercise, but I am determined to find a way.
I am 5ft5in, and I don't own a scale, but at my last doctor's appointment, I weighed in at 140lbs. I would like to lose about 15lbs total, and tighten and tone.To accomplish this goal, I am going to follow the Insanity program from Beachbody, and I will track my meals through myfitness pal.
I just recieved Insanity in the mail yesterday, so I have not completed a workout yet...I must admit, I am a little nervous. It looks like it is going to be VERY challenging. I am also a little skeptical about this program producing the results it claims in just 60 day...but the literature that came in the box does say that it all depends on your level of committment and how deep you dig...so I guess the results may vary.
Anyway, I'm very excited! I am hoping to meet others who have similar fitness goals, so that we can keep each other motivated!

I did Insanity for a while and it really is insane! I wish you all the luck... I ended up with a back injury half way through and had to stop. So I am doing more walking/running and body weight exercises right now. Would like to get back into it at some point! Feel free to add me.. I'll be curious to see how you like it!0

Seems like you're off to a fantastic start! Keep at it and you'll be awesome. Don't weigh yourself too often!
Instead, use the measuring tape to keep track of your progress.0
