I joined MFP to help motivate myself to eat healthier and workout harder. I have always been slightly heavier since I was a teenager. I really want to get in shape this year because: a) I am getting married in September b) I am planning of trying to get pregnant shortly after. I have lost 10 lbs in the last year but recently gained five back after quitting smoking.
Basically I need people who I believe are watching (even if they are not) my progress. I need to feel accountable for when I slip up (ie eating an ice cream cone every day, not touching the weights in weeks). For some reason I could quit smoking after smoking for 15 years on my first try but I cannot motivate myself to get to the gym and to eat better. So please friend me.
