I'm relatively new here. Just thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm Jen. I'm 34 and I'm a stay at home mom of two girls that I homeschool. I run a small non-profit organization (the mission is to help women to realize how amazing they already are). I'm happily married.

I quit smoking about 7 months ago, and put on a bit of weight. Though truthfully I never got back to where I wanted to be after popping the girls out. I figured if I could quit smoking, I could do anything I set my mind to.

So. Here I am :)

Welcome to MFP! Quitting smoking is the best decision you could have made - congratulations! I quit 2 years ago and have not looked back, I gained a lot of weight but I am still eternally thankful that I stayed quit. Now with my weight lost (and lower than I have been in 15+ years) and not being a smoker, I am happier and healthier than I can ever remember!! Take this one step at a time, one day at a time just as you likely did for quitting smoking, make changes for the positive every week and improve on them. Since you quit smoking I have every confidence you can do this too!
