Partially successful Jello experiment

I made this ocean-themed dessert today. Ingredients are Berry Blue Jello for the Ocean, Cool Whip for wave foam, Trolli Sour Brite Gummi Octopus and Gold Emblem (CVS) Assorted Gummi Fish for ocean life. I had to use 1½ boxes of Jello since my dessert cups are fairly large.

It didn't come out as well as I'd hoped since it was kind of hard to see the fish and octopus though the Jello. Oh well, I ate it anyway.

The ingredients, except I didn't use the Swedish Fish.

Prepare Jello as usual but don't fill the dessert cups all the way. Put cups in fridge for about 45 minutes so Jello will set a little. Leave the rest of the Jello in the mixing cup and do not refrigerate.

Gently place 1 octopus on the set Jello and pour a little more Jello over it. Let this sit in the fridge until it sets.

Now add the fish and the rest of the Jello and allow it to set completely.

Top with Cool Whip, look at it, say awww then eat it..
