Best ways to tone up thighs?

So...Now, at the moment, I still dislike most of my body, but at the moment my stomach which was my main hate is less horrible now..well it's not totally slim, still a muffin top, but i fit in smaller clothes and I will still work on it..but my main hate..the main thing I am dying to change is my damn Thighs!!
Since losing weight on my tum a bit I have noticed my thighs are so awful... like ridiculously bad!
I am almost 23 and my thighs SHOULDN'T be like this!...
There is literally no firmness!
They are wobbly.,,dots of cellulite plague the outer thigh... whereas on the inner side i have stretch marks...okay not 100% obvious but I can see them, which obviously means my other half can see them...AND...I HATE THEM!
I used to hate my stomach with that amount of passion but now it's my thighs that I HATE...they are disgusting!
So... My question...
Whats the best way to tone thighs?
I am terrified that if I continue to lose weight they will go saggy and horrible even more...
Yet I am not a fit gym bunny so intensive sport fears me!
I want to have nice thighs and legs.
I want to not be afraid of getting undressed and revealing them.
Before I didn't care so much...I am not a short skirt kinda girl..so my thighs wear concealed in jeans and I was happy with that. With clothes on I look like I have sorta-big legs, but curvy womanly legs...undressed= flabby thighs of horror!!
So please people, tell me the best way to fix this?? Fix my ridiculously wobbly thighs, cellulite & stretch-marked wreckage!!
NEED H-E-L-P!

You didn't mention, but do you currently do any form of exercise? I would have to say running! I'm not trying to brag just trying to make a point but I've always been complimented on my legs and how they're my best body feature, and I'm an avid runner who runs regularly several times a week. Running is great!0

You can't spot reduce. The body will take inches from wherever it is genetically predisposed to take off inches.
You can help the rest of your body by lifting heavy weights for every muscle group, not just the legs, and continuing to eat at a moderate calorie deficit. (A "moderate" deficit for a lady of your height and weight is NOT 1200 calories, you need to eat more than that) This will keep you from losing lean muscle mass, while continuing to encourage your body to drop fat.0 -
First thing first - as you lose weight in general, the cellulite will reduce. There's no spot reducing, yadda yadda yadda. But if you're looking for things to add some muscle...
I do martial arts. Kick, kick, kick! My legs are ALWAYS my best feature, and it doesn't hurt my butt either. True, my thighs are always BIG, but by golly, they're firm! And the best part is that martial arts is FUN. And you don't have to be in shape or know the first thing about it to start.'
Of course, people will tell you heavy lifting is more effective. I'm positive it is. But if you're not into that sort of thing, a martial arts class will help you out. (Try taekwondo.)0 -
Squats! Start with doing them with no weight to get your form correct then just the 45 pound bar and add 5# at a time. You will get awesome thighs (and butt).0

I second the martial arts idea! I do Les Mills Body Combat 3 times a week which incorporates a little of martial arts in some of the moves and after four months my legs are really showing some definition now! Still a long way to go but if I had the opportunity where I lived to take up a martial arts class I 100% would!!0 -
exercise! Martial arts, especially kick-boxing helps and its fun, dance, yoga or running, are some of my favorites, though setting up a stationary bike and watching TV while youre on it would help, you need to build muscle, and drink lots of water0

I'm going to weigh in with taking up barbell strength training. I sometimes get asked if I'm a dancer because of my legs and posture. They're still not perfect but they're pretty darned good.0

Deadlift. Squat with your weight on your shoulder. I know of no better way to shape a body and get rid of cellulite. My muffin tops and cellulite are almost completly gone. Vanished!0

Unfortunately, you can't pick where you get to lose weight, but my legs have become SO much better once I started lifting! They used to be so flabby but after months of lifting there is minimal jiggle and they feel nice and firm! They're my favourite part of my new body. So my advice -- start weight lifting!0

I do body pump once a week and yoga three times a week and this has helped to tone my legs Good luck.0

Iv tried kick-boxing and to be honest didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
I am planning to run, but so nervous.
I would like to weight lift, but I don't know where to start and what to do etc...sounds silly really but im just quite a nervous person really and never been into fitness..ever!
I do a lot more walking now in the last month as i am technically homeless iv had to do hour long walks to friends houses and now regularly walk somebody's dogs for an hour every wednesday for extra cash.
I just need to find something fun but cheap!0 -

aw.
I am a dancer- and most people don't ask me if "she squats bro"
sad panda face.
(for the record- I do)0 -
I'm a competitive kick boxer with long legs. I get compliments on them. However, the best way to improve your legs and make them more solid is weighted squats. I do cardio (obviously kick boxing) 3xs a week and lift 2xs a week I am using "Starting Strength" with my DH.
bench press/press 75/45
dead lift 90
squat 75
pull ups
brain crunchers 40
I'm not up to heavy weights yet, but I can already see improvements in my kick boxing, my stomach (no crunches, go figure!), legs, back, arms, shoulders ...pretty much everywhere. Everything is getting SOLID.
Also, I cannot bulk and do my sport. So far I show NO signs of bulking at all.0 -
that thing where you kneel and lean back until your head touches the floor then you straighten back up (using thighs butt and abs no hands). idk what it's called. i do that just about every day.0

You need to build muscle. Incorporate weight lifting into your routine. There are tons of exercises you can do for your legs as well as the rest of your body.0
