Somethng Odd

Hey guys just wanted to check if other people had a similar experience. Basically I've been losing weight rather consistently for a while now. At about 2-2.5lb per week. However in the last couple of weeks despite only a small ramp up in exercise and no change to my diet I have started dropping larger quantities of weight. This week for example I stand to lose in excess of 4.4lb's in my weigh in tomorrow. Now normally I would be jumping for joy about this. However I have started to overwork muscles much more easily. And as of this morning I have a uncomfortable but not unbearable burning abdominal pain whenever I compress the muscles in my abdominal area. Normally I would pass this off as muscle fatigue but I am in the middle of two rest days. I was already aware that I had over trained a bit. And this pain turned up while I was resting and while other muscle pain was getting better.

I was just wondering if anyone had similar experiences? And was wondering if perhaps upping my calorie intake at this point might actually be advisable.

Not really the same maybe but sometimes when I've really worked my muscles too hard I'll get muscle soreness not immediately the day after (that day I'm just fine), but the day after that it hurts really bad...

The muscle pain usually sets in one to two days afterward. That's totally normal.

Thanks for the replies going to try half an hour of light cardio and see if that flushes out some of the pain. If it does it's probably just muscle soreness.

If your stomach really hurts and it doesn't feel like normal I would talk to a person working in a hospital ASAP. These things could be all sorts of emergency-needing things. I'm sorry if this will make you worry. But rather safe then sorry, right?

Thank you for the concern. I had already decided to swing by the GP tomorrow morning to have it checked out anyway. The pain isn't intense or unbearable do I don't think it's anything that can't wait. And honestly it feels like it's abating rather than getting worse. Honestly I think it might be my IBS playing up in a new way. The old Buscopan seemed to work wonders on it. But once again I appreciate the concern =)

Update : After a moderate meal and some cardio I feel 100 times better looks like I just had to flush the acid outta my muscles hehe.

I think you are probably okay. Id keep it up since sounds like you are doing well wiyh your routine and would say a change is only warranted if feelings of fatigue or pain are persistant and/or reoccurring.
