Stress and Weight Gain

So after maintaining a 22lbs weight loss for a few months, I had a stressful 2-3 weeks and have gained a couple pounds back (or so). I am trying to not be hard on myself, go back to logging my food in MFP, but sometimes I just sit and and obsess over the new roll of fat around my waist (that's always where I gain at first) and feel ashamed! I wish I could internalize some of the 'love your body' philosophy that I certainly preach to others (my wife especially). But it's tough when it's yourself!

it happens. i gained back 30 pounds i lost because of stress (and of course sitting on my a$% and using pizza, happy hours and hot wings to "destress" ). I have a coworker who i usedto have lunch wih regularly and we boh got so busy we didnt do ouher for about 3 months or even see each other (we work on different floors, different departments). we saw each other for the first time a few weeks ago and were like OMG we gained so much weight because of this crappy job.

anyway, just get back up on hat horse, sparky and do what you know you need to do.

    Thanks.
This is what I am working with now. I feel like I may have gained more fat than the poundage says (compared to my profile pic)

The big issue, as I see it, is I started working at a bar. Good for money, bad for drinking beer and eating cheese sandwiches three nights a week!

You need a new plan on how to keep the weight off at the new job. It could be one beer a night, run 3 extra miles a week, add an extra day of weight training, etc. You can beat yourself up or you can beat that fat. The choice is yours.
