Fibre supplements - Pectin or Psyllium?

Hi. I'm considering getting a fibre supplement as I sometimes struggle to get enough (I aim for 25g daily).

What is the difference between Pectin and Psyllium?

And do they aid with fat loss when cutting?

    I tried psyllium for a little while, made me feel horribly bloated though but did the trick. It doesn't necessarily aid with fat loss but it can make you feel fuller so you'll eat less... probably why I felt so bloated all the time :-)

    ive had more luck and fun in eating fiber one cereal.. Been really enjoying the hell out of their honey clusters one... 10 grams of fiber per serving..

    I'm not big on supplements ... I can't see the point for normal healthy folks with a good diet,

    So, try start the day a with a good high fibre cereal (as the other poster said) - I use All Bran.... and then Peas, beans and Lentils etc in my main meals.
