Set delayed time zone for night shift?

Options
Hey everybody, I'm in New York, I work the overnight shift and it works best for me to start my food tracking day when I wake up around 3pm ( so it's 6am Monday but I'm still logging for Sunday) so I was wondering if it would work better for me, diary-wise, to set my time zone to Hawaii which is 10hrs behind me and still Monday, that way when i log during the night it's still showing the day I'm logging for. Is this a good idea? NOTE: I set the time zone to Hawaii but it's only reflecting when I log in from an internet browser, but not for the android and apple apps (they're saying it's Monday instead of Sunday )

Do what works for you. When I'm on night shift, I usually just log the food on the day I eat it, which makes the order wacky, but makes switching back and forth a lot simpler. For example, on a standard MFP diary, I would enter dinner first, then breakfast then lunch. As long as you're being consistent, it won't matter.
