Hi Guys..
Wondering if anyone can help me out.
During the week i workout on night times because of work, i finish work at 5 pm drive home then i would usually have my Tea/dinner whatever people like to call it.
Should i be having my tea before i work out or should i just have a snack and then have my tea after my workout.. i generally have chicken breast (oven baked or grilled) or salmon with veggies.
Also on weekends i work out on Mornings,
should i have breakfast before? and what should i have after?
Thanks, Ambz x

meal timing doesnt matter, do what works for you. i usually have a small snack after work and then dinner after just so i dont have a ton of food in my belly when im trying to workout
alot of people workout first thing in the morning without eating, others need to have a snack. as for after id advise having some sort of protein source not to long after working out though to make sure your muscles have the protein to repair themselves, other than that i wouldnt worry too much about it0 -
oh i see.
i may just have a clean snack before hand then have my tea after my workout.
Thanks
The whole "clean " notion sounds a bit restrictive. Don't set yourself up for binges later due to over restriction.
what i mean by this is ill just have a bowl of fruit with some yoghurt for a snack rather than a bag of crisps or a bar of chocolate.0 -
