when/what to eat Before/after Workout?

Hi Guys..

Wondering if anyone can help me out.

During the week i workout on night times because of work, i finish work at 5 pm drive home then i would usually have my Tea/dinner whatever people like to call it.
Then i would go to my workout class around 6.30pm or 7.30pm depending on what day i go.
Should i be having my tea before i work out or should i just have a snack and then have my tea after my workout..
i generally would have have chicken breast (oven baked or grilled) or salmon with veggies for my tea.

Also on weekends i work out on Mornings,
should i have breakfast before? and what should i have after?
