Healthy Tomato Basil Soup
2 cans crushed tomatoes (Not Drained)
3 Cups reduced sodium Chicken Stock
2 Cans tomato sauce
2 tsp olive oil
1 cup fresh basil chopped or 3 tbs of basic flakes
Garlic salt, salt & pepper to taste**if you prefer more flavor
1/4 cup diced onions
2 tbs minced garlic
Heat oil in pot, add onions & garlic and saute for a couple minutes over medium heat stirring frequently so the garlic doesn't burn. Add the remainder of ingrediants and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 30 minutes, covered.
Serve with a salad and it makes a perfect lunch.
