I bought my first food scale last night, after many on MFP said that it will greatly help me keep track of my portion sizes. I used it last night and was surprised how much 4 ounces of meat was. It was more than I thought! Hopefully this will help jump start me!

Always nice to know you're overestimating, but you want to get all the calories you say you're getting or you're cheating yourself! I'm sure it will help you out a lot. I couldn't live without mine.

I really need to get one, i keep forgetting to grab one when I'm at the store. I do use measuring cups and that has helped me tremendously. Thanks for the reminder!

My food scale is amazing!!! I was also surprised at how much 2 and 4 ounces were for meat. I make this killer chicken cheesesteak, only use 2 ounces of chicken, but man is that thing filling...and low calories too. Love it! Although I am already using it less because after a while you start being able to eye-ball a lot of stuff.

I'm going to do it. I have food scale on this weeks shopping list. It's time that I see what three ounces really looks like instead of guessing all the time.
