So, this is the first time I've ever tried to keep track of this stuff. What are people doing for success?

  • Sticking with it certainly helps haha. Seriously, just watch what you eat and how much your eating. That is a great start to losing the pounds. Exercise is also key to getting fit and keeping the pounds off. Then if your a soda drinker, I suggest cutting it out as much as possible. There ya go, hope it helps! :-D
  • It's amazing how much we eat without even knowing. Just watch the calories and you will do great!

Watch the calories. It really helps when you see it all written out! I track calories, fat, carbs, protein and sodium. What really got my attention was how much sodium I was taking in!! It really made me rethink a lot of "healthy" choices I thought I was making.

Also incorporating exercise has made the biggest difference for me :-)

    Good Luck! And Welcome!!

uuuughhh.. I havent been doing much and becoz of my job (being stuck at a desk all day long) helped me gained more and then more and then more....
Every now and then I decided I should do something about it and then got lazy.. I found this site about 3 days ago, it helps me keep track of what I eat and realize how many calories they have I've been taking without thinking..
Im hoping it will help me stick to my decission this time :)
  • log absolutely everything. If you have a bad day and you want to avoid logging it, FORCE yourself. Firstly you will realise your bad days aren't as bad as you think, and secondly you will realise what pattern your bad days take- is it always a monday- going back to work, is it always when you meet up with friends for a drink? Then you can start replacing the bad things with the good things.
