Just started...wanting off this roller coaster!

Hey everyone! I have a 20 year history (my entire adult life) of battling weight loss. I never wanted to be one of those ex-athletes who balloons up after HS/College. But here I am...again. I've tried so many different things: New Direction, Metabolic Research Center, Body For Life, Crossfit, and the list goes on. They have all worked for me, but I always end up right back where I started. I just got on MFP 2 1/2 weeks ago and weighed in at 290. I've since lost 19.2 pounds, but I'm obviously nervous about sustaining my progress long term. I've got a long ways to go to get to my goal weight, but I'm working it. Would appreciate the encouragement of the MFP community!!
