Im curious:
1. Can you buy rabbit in your area?
2. What is your area?
3. How much does it cost, and for what cuts (per lb, half, quartered, whole)?

Same questions for:
Deer
Raccoon
Goat

    Eat rabbit during rabbit season after we shoot them.
    NEver looekd into buying it.

    Deer? Sure. Usually just buy some off friends who have shot one during deer season and the priocing on that varies from friend to friend.

    Im always flabberghasted by the idea of a rabbit season-we shoot year round. And is it nice to have friends that sell deer? I need better friends.

    1. Yes to rabbit and goat, deer are an all-you-can-shoot buffet around here (in-season), and I don't know about raccoon
    2. NJ, USA
    3. whole young rabbits are ~$4/lb (~$16/animal) and whole goat was ~$6/lb (~$200-300/animal) the last time we got it (my $/lb quoted for hanging weight, actual yield is less)

    At the moment i live in england and haven't found a vouchers who sells rabbit… i am from spain and it is normal to eat it not weekly but yes couple of times a month at least i love it roasted or in a paella. It is not expensive about 10 euros for a rabbit that feeds 4 people!

    Depends on where you live more then friends. In my state it is flat out illegal to sell hunted meat. Can my friends reimburse me for meat processing fees if they claim part of the kill? sure. Swap meat from different kills (I'll give you 4 lbs antelope for 8 lb elk)? Sure. But anything beyond that? Not unless we want to go to jail.

    Yes, you can buy rabbit, goat, and deer. I don't recall prices or specific cuts, but there's a variety--I know I've seen whole rabbit and a bunch of venison options, and I buy from a farm that sells goat in various cuts. I don't recall prices, I have a bad memory for those, but I imagine it varies a lot depending on where you are buying it. I'm in Chicago. Never seen raccoon for sale, but also never looked.
