Mental Block...any advice would be appreciated!

Hi! Long time lurker first time poster..
Ok looking for some advice on how to get around a mental block I've been told I had by some of the other guys in my gym.
For the past 3 weeks I've been using 90lb dumbells for my benching exercises.I can get the 90lbs for 2sets of 10 and one set of 7-8 on the incline and an even 3 sets of 10 on the flat. Problem comes in when I try to do flat barbell with 2 plates..I unrack get down about halfway and re-rack. On second attempts I won't even unlock my elbows and just say screw it.
The guys I speak to , some that have been lifting since I was in diapers, who have watched me progress over the months say with the weights I'm pushing with the dumbells I shouldn't have any problem with 225. I don't know what happens but I just kinda freak out . Anybody have any experience with this? Thanks!
