Anyone have results from at home dumbbell routines?

I just starting a full body dumbbell routine at home that I will be doing 3 times a week. I have been reading many of the threads and got some pretty good information on where to find a good at home routine. So far I am using 10 lb weights for OHP, Chest press, bent over rows and 25 lb for squats and dead lifts. I actually can use maybe 10 or 12 lb for some arm moves, but I have to buy a bigger set when I get paid. Or maybe just join a gym, but kinda intimidated still. (I know I know don't be). Don't judge me on my weight sizes, my arms are weak. I will get there!
I am interested to see how an at home dumbbell weight training routine has changed your body. Do you see a difference in inches loss? Muscle definition? I am sure that stronglifts 5x5 are better, but I am not a member of a gym. Can it work for you just the same?
Please excuse me if this is asked somewhere else as I am sure it is. I just keep going through the threads, but have not seen actual results from dumbbell heavy weight training vs stronglift heavy lifting.
Edit: I am following the All Pro beginner routine I found on one of the body building sites.

My awesome boyfriend has used primarily dumbbells at home, plus a punching bag (he does tae kwon do also) and he's made amazing changes in his body according to photos from before we met. If that's what you have access to, then go for it. There are very few moves that require a barbell that you're unable to adjust for dumbbells instead. Even deadlifts can be done with dumbbells.0

Even when I go to the gym, with the exception of squats and dead lifts, I use dumb bells for everything and have had great results so far. I did start off at 10 pound weights and was pretty quick to increase the weights, though. however, I do tend to see strength gains fairly easy and always have, so I'm not sure if that's the case for everyone.
As snuggle mentioned as well - one location of my gym does not have a place to dead lift with a barbell so I use dumb bells for that as well. I also do weighted lunges with dumb bells which are fantastic at working your legs and butt!0 -
Great to know thanks!!0
