At-Home Exercise Routine

Hi- So I just began my 3rd week of exercising and eating better. I am about 5'9 and have always been over-weight, but I never thought Id reach 300 pounds, which I did hit recently on the scale. My weight distributes pretty evenly on my body, except for my midsection which is not nice looking at all, but other than that, it would be hard to believe that I weigh as much as I do just by looking at me. I have a made a lot of changes, mostly good ones, such as no sugary beverages WHATSOEVER and I do not go over my allowed calories, also I don't eat past 7 pm.
As far as exercise- I have gone from having NEVER been active, to now walking the mile to work every morning, and at night I do about 30 mins of Zumba and 4 sets of 25 crunches and leg lifts. I usually work up a good sweat, and I find that I can add more crunches, as well as move around better than I was.
I havent weighed myself yet, but I know I must have lost a few pounds. I am going to weigh next week. My biggest concern right now, is, am I doing enough? Are there other good exercises I can add to my nightly routine that I can do right in my living room? My biggest area to lose is in my mid-section.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My food diary is public as well. I think I entered this whole thing kind of hard, but I feel much better now on the 3rd week. I was going kind of low on the calories, so for the past few days Ive been purposely eating a bit more, to get it right around the 1600 mark, I do not want to starve myself, I want to do this the right way. I am not sure if I am doing enough, or if Zumba is even a good choice at all, but I do enjoy it. Any suggestions?
