Wake up Call!!!

Unfortunately, it was a recent visit to the Doctor that was needed to get me off my *kitten* and start taking care of myself. High cholesterol, Blood pressure and now Type II Diabetes. My doctor said " you are at a high risk of having a cardiac event". Well if it was motivation i need to get started, I sure had it now. As a father of 5 yr old twin boys I knew i had to start right away and I did. I'm eating well and walking 4-6 hrs /week with a little weight training thrown in. Three weeks into it I've lost about 13 lbs, and have already lowered my blood sugars substantially.

It would be great to hear your story and share ideas.
