I need some motivation. Is this an accurate representation? http://balancedmommagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/10-lbs-of-fat.jpg

If so, that looks like a lot of fat from around the waist.

That looks pretty close. With some people is disperses throughout the body and other people it stores one area like the belly, butt, legs.

So on someone with a waist size of 33inches, a 10lb weight loss would make a significant difference? Assuming that most if not all was lost from the belly.

it's unlikely it would all go from one place only.

I lost inches off my waist without any weightloss at first, lifting certainly helped :)

Even if most of the fat is around the waist?

It's all genetics when it comes too fat storage. We don't all keep it in the same areas. Just take a look at different people you see during the day. 10 lbs can make a huge difference. I lost 12 lbs and it was like night and day when looking at old photos of myself.
