Do your weigh or measure your ice cream?

Options
Okay so my ice cream says 120 calories for a half a cup. I usually measured out a half a cup but now I have a scale so I measure it on there. Oddly enough, 125 ml of ice cream is a lot more when I weigh it on the scale then when I measure a half a cup. what should I rely on more? The measuring cup or the scale?

I will do a "test" weight to see if the packaging is correct by grams per serving. So far, ice cream is off by a lot so I weigh it now.

    The scale is more accurate.

I scale my ice cream. Then I use my spoon to fork it.

I measure it into one of these... and only fill it half full.

Grammage shmammage. Half a cup = half a cup when it comes to ice cream!

I always weigh my ice cream. For me it's better because it's more accurate than measuring it in a cup. People have gotten used to me pulling out my scale for ice cream or whatever else I feel needs a weight on it prior to me eating it.

I always weigh my ice cream. Weighing it with a scale is accurate, measuring it by volume is an estimate.

I honestly had to laugh. Not at you, OP...when I eat ice cream, it's with gusto and no regrets!
