so you think that you have tried EVERYTHING!!!

How many times have we said and heard other people say "I have tried everything but i just cant lose weight". Or maybe it goes something along the lines of "I exercised and dieted for x amount of weeks but then i couldn't keep it up". Well have you really tried everything. Come on thing about it. there may be something that you may not have tried.

Have you tried PERSEVERING. I know it is hard but the only way your going to reach your goal is if you keep going and not giving up. Every time your feel low or are not doing so well do something think of why you started, get your motivation back up.

Have you ever lost some weight but then given up and put it back on again. Sick of starting over. WELL THEN DON'T GIVE UP. YOU CAN DO IT, JUST KEEP GOING.

I get what you are saying but...

After 2 years and 3 doctors not even they can tell me why I am not losing weight.

My life has been under a microscope and there is no reason for it.

So telling someone to just persevere while great in sentiment not always helpful.

You're right, the vast majority of the time people who say they have tried everything and are ready to give up are really just simply tired of trying.

Everyone is different. I have been at this for over a year and 1/2. The year mark was my goal date. It didn't happen. I was still over 20 lbs where i needed to be. I have seen doctors, been to weight watchers, read books about mineral and vitamin regimens, stuck to my workouts 4-5 days a week with a calorie intake of 1600-1800 just like my doctor recommended, switched up routines. When that year hit, I took a mental break for a good month. I have been back for over 5 months now. Still working and lost maybe 8 pounds in 5 months. I guess its easy to say persevere but everyone has their own journey. Everyone has their limits. I think sometimes weight loss is a series of stops and starts before some folks complete it. Every time I get back to it I do a bit better. That's the best I can do.
