Summertime (food) Sadness

It's 95+ degrees here and summer's fast on it's way. With the stifling heat and muggy feels I get so uninspired to eat anything. Today for instance instead of eating my planned foods I ended up eating about 2 cups of some crazy cole slaw invention to avoid cooking. I told myself I'd get a burger when out for errands but then the heat made that so unnappetizing.

Does this happen to anyone else? Like even if you were starving to death and there were a ton of food left at dinner you couldn't touch it to save your life? I feel like when the weather gets like this I should start a plan to eat all my cals early before it's too hot and late, late at night when my appetite's back.

***Good thing "no eating after 6" isn't really a thing!***

    This is not a problem that I have. I love grilling on the beach or by the pool in 90+ degree weather. I just need beer . . .

    OMG. I'm talking about 95 + degrees here. and one of these days it's gonna be 104 or something.

    I can fry an egg on the sidewalk...but I can't eat it.

    I have this issue. When it gets too warm, I just don't want to eat anything. Ice lollies, fruit and veg are about the only things I can tolerate!

    Great remake! Summertime Sadness is one of my favorite songs but I almost like your version better.

    I too am one of those people that hate food when it's hot. When it gets like that.. the only thing I want to do is cut a watermelon in half and eat the whole thing.

    However, I am always in the mood for beer.. especially when it is hot out!
