That when it is noticable that you have lost weight, friends and family start offering you chocolate and sweets more? Last night I was given a pack of 10 chocolate rolls and a massive chocolate bar from my dad. The other week my friend gave me sweets and my other friend keeps offering to cook me pizza. That never used to happen....
Also, it takes all my will power to pass this stuff on to someone else.

YES definately. I am in college and my family is sending me food likecrazy because they think i need it
I told them that if they keep sending it i am going to give it away; and waste their money.
That stopped it for me :]0 -
i know what you mean as soon as people find out you are trying to loose weight out come the chocs and sweets i am quite strong and say no thanks but on the odd occassion i do have some and when you start to eat that is when i find it hard to stop. thats why i say no to start off with.0

I've found that before, my fiance would drink water with me...and now he drinks Coke in front of me and tells me that I should be drinking water instead...
So he's basically creating a situation where I have to gain will power almost instantaneously to stop myself from cheating, whereas before I made it known that I wanted to eat better and get in shape, he had no problem leaving the temptations off the table.0 -
I'm glad I have you guys in MFP who also knows what its like, I don't feel alone0
