Challenge 100k in 12 months

In the next 12 months I am challenging myself to complete 20 5k events - 100k!

I'm over half way to my 100+ pound weight loss goal by mainly focusing on eating habits. I wanted to set an achievable but challenging goal on the exercise side. 5ks are a comfortable distance for me; I know I can walk to finish if needed. I've been training with a couch to 5k app.

With 20 events to complete I have to do one very couple weeks so there's no opportunity to put it off. The events don't have to be a big (and usually expensive) organized run. I found a running club near by that does a $5 5k once a month. I can also do my own 5k using an app to set my distance goal for free and on my own schedule.

I'm sharing this to keep myself accountable, and share the idea. Anyone up for 100k?
