When you log your exercise calories, do you log total calorie burn or net calorie burn? I think I should be logging net calories burned, but according to the database the calories burned for different exercises seem to be closer to total calories burned. Any thoughts?

The calorie burn estimates in MFP are notoriously "generous." Many MFP uses overwrite estimates to 50-75% of what MFP gives.
Net refers to taking out calories you would burn anyway if you did nothing during the time you were working out. You're thinking is correct.......net takes away the double counting aspect.0 -
