Hi all,

Here is a little info on my weight loss

05/15/14: RE-Start n Re-Committed to Low Carb.. New Day 4 of LC. Starting weight=190.6
Current weight= 186.4
Total loss since Re-Commit= 4.2
Total loss since orig Lifestyle changes started 07/22/13= 35 lbs!!!

It's interesting I've lost 4.2 lbs since re-start 4 days ago.? While I have definitely ROCKED keeping carbs low, my cals have been high (2500- 2700), I'm female n 5'3..?? I know the orig Atkins plan basically said to not pay attention to cals, I do because it's on my BodyMedia..I'm going to try n be better w the cals but I'm hopeful this 4.2 lbs loss will stick!!!

Thoughts on the high cals??

Whenever the body needs a re-boot I know the high calories confuses it. Though, if you stayed at that range you would start to gain. I am doing low carb, high fat and when I stick to it, it works really well. I'm 5'3 too, and 175ish...I try to eat around 1400 calories, even after working out. When I work out I don't mind going a little higher. As long as it is not in my carb macros.
