This makes me want to puke each and every time I see it...self-centered, egotistical maniac. Why did the states have to give him back? We don't want him!0 -

I opened this thinking it was a teenager's rant about parents buying the wrong food or something. I was pleasantly surprised.
I forgot to add: it IS hard. When I was 18, I had to buy my own gas for the car my parents gave me. ????0 -
To be fair, all teenagers are stupid and they always have been. We just have to hear about it a lot more these days. Yay technology :grumble:0

Of course it's supposed to be hard, you're only eighteen!0 -
Guys, you're all making excuses. Those aren't challenges, they're excuses.

Unless at the age of 18 you have a mortgage payment, a car payment and kids then no it shouldn't be all that hard.
Live in your parents basement, play some PS3 while you eat cheetos. Nothing hard about it.0 -
But really, no love for the Gen Ys? Not that I'm one of them or anything.....0 -
But you people are lazy!
You have EVERYTHING figured out if you lose 16 pounds!0 -
I dunno man. I'm 18 but life doesn't seem any harder or easier than before. I can vote now though, so that's kinda cool0

Gosh, nothing about this rhetoric sounds like the same thing every other previous generation has ever said about the up-and-coming generation, ever.

I felt it was kind of difficult what with my brain not being fully developed and all.0

18 is super hard! I can't figure out how I ever got through my days without wine! Those poor, sober youths...0

I had a 20 year old earlier tell me that she is going to keep smoking while she is young and quit when she gets older because her lungs "won't be harmed since she is young".
How.... How is a generation so ignorant? I seriously don't know how they even cross the street without getting ran over.0 -
