I need to lose about 75 pounds, and I know I can't do that alone. Please help whether you have more or less to lose. Even if you're at your goal weight you can share tips on how you succeeded!

Feel free to send me a friend request. My best advise is to do a search on the message board for "sexy pants"....part of the title of a great post that is a must read to get a good understanding of the smart way to approach weight loss. Also, be religious about watching portion sizes and logging everything that goes in your mouth...get a food scale so that you can weigh food for a while to get comfortable with what a portion size really is. And, get moving...do anything you can to move more during your day...walk whenever you can, take stairs rather than elevator,etc...there are some great exercise videos that you can get free via YouTube and do at home. I also love my fitbit flex to track my exercise...it's essentially a bracelet that counts your steps based on the movement of your arm, and estimates your calorie burn based on the steps and your weight. I try for at least 10,000 steps per day.

Last thing...don't give up if you think that the food and exercise tracking takes too much time, or if you don't lose an amount of weight you THINK you should lose. The tracking keeps you focused and mindful of what you're eating and doing, and the human body is a strange and wonderful machine, and the way it works (or loses weight, in this case) doesn't always make sense.

    Good luck with your journey:smile:

Since I started my journey to a better lifestyle I have lost 140 lbs. No trainers or nutritionists. Put your mind to it, and do it. I have slacked of a bit, but getting back on track. I still have another 60 lbs to lose as well. If I can help, just let me know
